Privacy policy

The short version. We collect the least we can to run the game: a first name, an anonymous account, who you're paired with and your answers. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. Your partner only sees your answers after you've both finished a round. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
Who we are
Two Truths (the “app”) and this website are run by TUNED IN LABS LTD (“Tuned In Labs”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17502320, registered office 20 Wenlock Rd, London N1 7GU.
We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@tunedinlabs.com.
What we collect

We do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, location or payment card details. Payments are handled entirely by Apple or Google.
Your answers can reveal things about your relationship. We treat them as private: only you and your partner can see them, and our staff do not read them except where needed to fix a problem you have reported or where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data or share it with advertisers. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf, under contracts that protect it:
- Supabase, which hosts our database and sign-in.
- RevenueCat, which tells the app whether you have an active subscription.
- Apple and Google, which process app purchases under their own privacy policies.
Your partner sees your name and, after each reveal, your answers for that round. If you play on one shared device, anyone using that device can see the round on screen.
We may disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others.
International transfers
Some of our providers store or process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to keep your data protected to UK standards.
How long we keep it
- Your profile, pairing and answers are kept while your account is active.
- If you unpair, past rounds are no longer visible in the app. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your profile and answers within 30 days.
- Records we must keep for legal or tax reasons are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal data
- correct data that is wrong
- delete your data
- restrict or object to how we use it
- send your data to you or another service in a portable format
To make a request, email hello@tunedinlabs.com from any address and include the name you use in the app and your partner's name, so we can find your account. We will reply within one month. In the app, Settings has a Delete my data button for what is stored on the phone.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Age
Two Truths is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child is using the app, please contact us and we will delete their account.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with access controls that let only you and your partner see your rounds. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you and the regulator about any serious breach as the law requires.
This website
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and change the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we will tell you in the app.
