The short version. Two Truths is a game for adults. Be kind, keep it consensual, and don't misuse the app. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and renew until you cancel. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to the Two Truths app and website, provided by TUNED IN LABS LTD (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17502320, registered office 20 Wenlock Rd, London N1 7GU. By using Two Truths you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

2. Who can use Two Truths

You must be 18 or over to use Two Truths. By using the app you confirm that you are. Hot questions are only available when both players confirm they are 18 or over and have both opted in.

3. Your account

We create an anonymous account when you first open the app. You are responsible for activity on your device. If you pair with a partner, they will see your name and, after each round, your answers. You can unpair at any time in Settings.

4. Playing fairly

Two Truths is meant to be fun for both of you. You agree not to:

use the app to pressure, harass or harm anyone, or play Warm or Hot rounds with someone who has not freely agreed
pair with or play as someone without their knowledge
try to see answers before a reveal, break our security, or reverse engineer the app
use the app for anything unlawful

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. The questions

Questions, dares and other content in Two Truths are for entertainment. They are not relationship, medical or professional advice. Dares are suggestions only: never do anything you or your partner are not comfortable with.

6. Two Truths+ subscriptions

Two Truths+ is available monthly or yearly at the prices shown in the app. Prices include VAT where it applies.
New subscribers can get a 3-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription and you are charged.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
Payments, renewals and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. Refund requests go to them.
One active subscription unlocks Two Truths+ for both partners in a pair while you stay paired.
We may change prices. Any change applies from your next renewal, and Apple or Google will tell you in advance.

Your legal right to cancel digital content within 14 days ends once the content starts to be supplied, which happens when your trial or subscription begins. This does not affect your other rights, including the right to cancel future renewals at any time.

7. Free features

Free play includes one round a day and a one-off Hot taster per couple. We may change what is free, but we will not remove anything you have already paid for during your current subscription period.

8. Our app and content

We own Two Truths, its design, questions and branding. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial use. Screenshots of your own results are fine to share.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Two Truths running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may update the app, add or remove features, or stop offering it. If we stop offering Two Truths+, we will tell you in advance.

10. Our responsibility to you

If we fail to follow these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure, up to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using Two Truths at any time and ask us to delete your data, as explained in our privacy policy. Cancelling a subscription is done through Apple or Google.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to sort things out.
